Kitchiana Howard
Kitchiana Howard, 14, is the youngest ever to win the Diva Quest scholarship competition. For her solo, Kitichiana sang "At Last" a classic love song by Etta James. She is a freshman at Park High School in Racine. She plans to use the scholarship to attend college and sing in the school's chorus.

The Diva Quest experience was a beautiful and rewarding experience. The whole thing all together was well put together and I learned so much. The people who worked with us were so helpful and encouraging. The girls I got to meet were great. We all came from different backgrounds and had the chance to get to know one another. We became great friends and still keep in touch. We learned a lot from each other. I feel as though Diva Quest is something I won't ever forget because it was so much fun and such a beautiful experience. My parents loved the competition. They thought it was great that I learned more about being confident and performing. I came out winning $1,000 towards college, which is something I desperately needed. My family is not on the wealthy side, so being in this competition meant the world to me. I had a great time, and wouldn't trade the experience for the world. I would encourage any girl who has thought about trying out to just go and do it because it's something no one could regret.
